JOHN MARCOS AND CHRISTOPHER YORK JOIN BUXBAUM GROUP AS V.P.’S IN ASSET APPRAISAL GROUP LOS ANGELES (10/18/06) – John Marcos and Christopher York, former field auditors at CIT Group in Los Angeles, have joined Buxbaum Group as vice presidents in the firm’s Asset Appraisal Group. Both report to executive vice president Jim Siebersma, who also leads the firm’s Asset Appraisal Group. Most recently, Marcos spent 11 years as an assistant v.p.-auditor and assistant v.p.-underwriter at CIT. Prior to that, he was an account representative for Toyota Motor Credit Corporation. A resident of Pasadena, Calif., he earned an M.B.A. in International Business & Information Technology from the University of LaVerne in 2002 and a B.A. in Business Administration/Accounting from California State University, Fullerton in 1992. York joined CIT in 2000 as an auditor/management associate. Earlier in his career, he was the assistant manager of line service for Skytrails Aviation in Van Nuys, Calif. From 1993 to 1995, he served in the United States Navy, Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron 131 as a Line Division Assistant Supervisor. A resident of North Hills, Calif., York graduated in 2000 from California State University, Northridge with a B.S. in Business Administration, Finance.
